About Par and Peg

We started Par and Peg because comparing golf equipment online is more frustrating than it should be.

Everyone reviews the new flagship driver. Almost no one tells you the real difference between the rangefinder you're considering and the one $80 cheaper. Manufacturer pages list specs in different formats. Retailer pages bury comparisons under marketing copy. Forum threads contradict each other. Eventually you give up and buy whatever the first credible-looking review says.

We thought there should be a better way. So we built one.

What we do

Par and Peg is a comparison database for golf equipment. We focus on the questions golfers actually ask before buying:

Every comparison page on the site pulls from the same structured data — real specs, real prices, real differences — so you can see the tradeoffs at a glance instead of digging through five different manufacturer pages.

Who we are

Par and Peg is run by a small team based in Connecticut. We're golfers, not industry insiders. We don't have a robot in a testing lab. What we have is a relentless focus on making it easier to compare equipment side-by-side, with honest data and honest opinions.

We don't take payment for favorable reviews. We don't accept free product in exchange for coverage. We make money through affiliate commissions when readers buy through our links — see our Affiliate Disclosure for the full breakdown.
