At $270 less at list and with a bigger footprint — 60 × 60 inches versus 60 × 48 — it covers more ground for less money, and its four tee-insert holes give you actual options for how you tee the ball. The SIGPRO Commercial Teeline 4×5 is worth a look if you specifically need that heavier rubber base or if you're planning to size up to one of the larger variants. For most setups, the 3D 5×5 is the easier call.
Both are full-surface mats with no replaceable hitting strip — you're hitting off the same turf across the whole thing, not a separate insert. Neither product has a published weight or warranty from The Indoor Golf Shop. Both use a commercial-grade construction and share the same 60-inch length. The 3D's listing says tees are sold separately; The Indoor Golf Shop publishes no parts list for the Teeline.
The 3D 5×5 is a square: 60 × 60 inches. The Teeline 4×5 is 60 × 48 inches. That's a foot of width you lose on the Teeline — meaningful if you like a wide stance area or if you're walking around the mat to hit from different positions. The Teeline does come in larger versions (4×7 and 4×9) at higher prices, so if you need length more than width, that's a path the 3D 5×5 doesn't offer.
This is the one that tends to matter more than people expect. The Teeline 4×5 is 2.375 inches thick; the 3D 5×5 is 1.6 inches. That's a 0.78-inch gap. If you're placing a launch monitor on the mat itself, that difference is worth checking against the monitor's requirements. The Teeline's listing does say its full teeline surface suits a launch monitor with a wide detection zone; the 3D's says nothing either way.
The 3D 5×5 uses a woven turf over a polyurethane glue base with an elastic fiber shock layer underneath — it's also rated waterproof and for outdoor use, which the Teeline page doesn't mention. The 3D 5×5 has four tee-insert hole locations built in, and The Indoor Golf Shop points toward specific compatible tees (the Tomahawk NEO, the Bir-Tee, the TeeClaw). The Teeline page never says whether the turf accepts a tee at all.

The Teeline is thicker and comes in bigger sizes; the 3D 5×5 is wider, cheaper, and the only one that clearly accepts tees. That tee situation on the Teeline is a real question mark — the page just doesn't say — and combined with the $270 price gap at list, it's hard to make the case for the Teeline at the base size. If you don't have a specific reason to need that rubber base or the extra thickness, the math points one direction.
